Data deletion request
You can request deletion of personal data that DUNA AI LIMITED holds about you. This page explains how to make the request, what we currently collect, what gets deleted and what may be retained for legal reasons.
Last updated: 2026-05-21
1. Current scope
DunaAI does not yet offer user accounts, mobile applications or self-service logins. As of the date above, our public website is informational and the personal data we may hold about you is limited to data you sent us directly, for example via:
- the contact form on /#contact (processed by Formspree on our behalf);
- bookings or scheduling interactions through Calendly;
- direct email correspondence sent to contact@dunaai.dev, privacy@dunaai.dev or support@dunaai.dev;
- server, security and analytics logs generated by your visit to dunaai.dev (where applicable).
When DunaAI introduces user accounts, mobile apps (iOS / Android) or authenticated services, this page will be extended to cover account deletion in line with Apple App Store and Google Play requirements.
2. How to request deletion
To request deletion of personal data we hold about you, send an email from the address you used to contact us to one of:
- privacy@dunaai.dev (preferred for data deletion)
- support@dunaai.dev
Use the buttons below to open a pre-filled message in your default email client:
3. Information to include
To help us locate the right records and process your request, please include:
- the email address you used to contact us;
- the channel through which you contacted DunaAI (contact form, Calendly, direct email, etc.);
- the type of request: delete all my data, delete specific data, or export my data;
- any additional context that may help us verify your identity (for example, approximate date of the contact or subject of the conversation).
For security reasons, we may ask follow-up questions to verify your identity before actioning the request. We will not action deletion requests we cannot reasonably verify.
4. What gets deleted
When we action a deletion request, we delete or anonymise:
- contact form submissions stored with us (and we ask Formspree, our processor, to delete its copy as far as its retention policy allows);
- email correspondence stored in our inbox in connection with the request;
- Calendly booking records that we control (Calendly itself is a separate data controller — see step 7 below);
- any other identifiable records we hold that relate to you, subject to the retention rules in section 5.
5. What may be retained
Some data may be retained for a limited time after a deletion request, where there is a legitimate or legal reason to do so:
- Fraud prevention and security: security logs, abuse signals and audit trails needed to protect our systems and other users;
- Legal and accounting obligations: invoices, payment records and tax records that must be retained under Irish and EU law;
- Dispute resolution and enforcement: records needed to defend against legal claims or enforce our Terms;
- Backups: residual copies that exist in encrypted backups will expire according to their normal retention schedule.
Retained data is held only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose and is protected with appropriate safeguards.
6. Processing time
We aim to acknowledge deletion requests within 1–2 business days and complete them within 30 days of verifying the request, in line with GDPR. In exceptional cases we may extend this period as permitted by law and will inform you if so.
7. Third-party services
Some services we rely on are independent data controllers in their own right. If you also want your data deleted from those services, please contact them directly:
- Formspree (contact form processor) — formspree.io privacy policy.
- Calendly (scheduling) — calendly.com privacy.
- Your email provider, if you communicated with us via email.
On your request, we can pass on a deletion instruction to our processors where contractually possible, but the providers above retain their own independent retention policies.
8. Future: account deletion for DunaAI apps
Once DunaAI releases applications that include user accounts (including any iOS or Android apps), this page will be expanded to cover account deletion. The Apple App Store and Google Play require a publicly accessible account-deletion URL for any app that supports account creation, and this page (https://dunaai.dev/delete-account) is reserved for that purpose.
When that happens, the page will also describe how subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play interact with account deletion (those subscriptions are managed by the relevant store and need to be cancelled there, not via DunaAI).
